JohnCUYESof Peel Gardens Nursing Home, Colne, formerly of Burnley Road, Accrington, died on Sunday, December 22 aged 93. He was a coal miner at Hapton Valley and in his spare time enjoyed DIY and walking holidays. Husband of the late Hilda, he leaves son Andrew and daughter-in-law Heather, grandchild Matthew and his partner Steph. The funeral service took place on Monday, January 13, conducted by the Rev Chris Casey, at St Mary's Church, Rawtenstall, at 11am, followed by interment at Rawtenstall Cemetery.
